About the O'Donnell Foundation The O'Donnell Foundation's purpose is charitable and educational, with an emphasis on strengthening math and science programs in Texas. The O'Donnell Foundation primarily supports engineering, science, and mathematics education at the graduate level. The Foundation also supports Advanced Placement programs (math, science, English, art) as well as arts programs in higher education. The majority of its education grants are to public institutions in Texas. The foundation does not provide scholarships or make grants to individuals. Anyone wishing to apply for a grant should submit: 1. A letter describing the program the grant would support, 2. A description of the sponsoring organization, including officers and staff, audited financial statements, and description of past programs showing record of their successful implementation, 3. A description of the proposed program including staff involved and detailed budget, 4. Detail of other support for the program, both financial and in-kind, and, 5.
